So what are two-ply business shirts?

‘Two-ply cotton’ refers to fabric made with two individual threads, twisted together to make one yarn and then tightly woven creating a very smooth, strong fabric. These types of fabrics often feel silkier and make a more comfortable business shirt. Almost all business shirts are made from a cheaper single-ply fabric, however all Amalfi Shirts are made of premium Italian two-ply fabrics. Often two-ply business shirts are designated as such on the label, while single-ply business shirts will probably not mention ply at all.
